Keeping Our Non-Profits Safe: Legality of Maintaining COVID19 Restrictions for Saskatchewan Non-Profits
A webinar for Saskatchewan non-profits about how they can continue to keep their communities safe following the lifting of provincial health restrictionsNon-profits across Saskatchewan have been scrambling to figure out what is possible since Premier Scott Moe instructed businesses wanting to implement their own restrictions to « consult a lawyer ». For many non-profit organizations, especially those who are small or volunteer-led, they don’t have the funds to consult a lawyer or to even know what is appropriate to ask.
That’s why Ivy + Dean is so excited to be collaborating with Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan to bring this free webinar and Q&A to Saskatchewan non-profits. This webinar, titled Keeping Our Non-Profits Safe: Legality of Maintaining COVID19 Restrictions for Saskatchewan Non-Profits, is specifically designed for non-profits in Saskatchewan who are seeking guidance around legal requirements associated with maintaining COVID19 restrictions (such as masking, proof of vaccination, negative tests) within their organization. Associate Paige Moreside (she/her) from Bainbridge Jodouin Cheecham and Associate Andrea C. Johnson (she/her) from Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP will offer some helpful information for non-profit organizations who have questions about their options related to COVID19 restrictions in terms of employees/staff and in terms of clients/service users.
Are you a lawyer in Saskatchewan? This webinar has been approved for 1.5 CPD hours with the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
