Community Collaboration for Sexual Health & Wellness

A project with Planned Parenthood Regina to host community consultation and research activities in order to better serve the intended populations in the community with a priority focus on youth and emergent needs.

About the project

Service statistics show that Planned Parenthood Regina is primarily serving the general population in need of basic health care like routine pap smears and birth control renewals that could be done at less specialised locations. Planned Parenthood Regina is seeking to refocus its efforts to serve the intended populations in the community with a priority focus on youth and emergent needs.

To achieve this goal, Planned Parenthood Regina has hired us, Ivy + Dean Consulting, to conduct a community consultation through online surveys, one-on-one interviews, and community roundtable events, with  a special focus on youth ages 12 to 18, 2SLGBTQ+ people, newcomers to Canada (especially those who do not have a Saskatchewan Health Card and/or private insurance), and those who are experiencing homelessness or poverty.

We have now launched a consultation process to gather input from Planned Parenthood Regina’s current and would-be clients and their communities. The results from this inquiry will be used to inform their future work.

Discussion groups will take place in July, and a public survey is now open for clients and other community members.

Take Part in Our Public Survey Before July 15th 2023.

We hope you will take the time to help us by completing this short survey.

Participating should take less than 15 minutes. Know that you can skip questions you do not want to answer.
